FC Proficiency Exam
A Fellowcraft Mason’s Lodge was opened April 25, and one Brother successfully passed his FC examination. Congratulations, Brother. A Master’s degree conferral is scheduled for May 10.
New Entered Apprentice
On April 11th, Abilene 559 conferred the 1st Degree in Masonry on a new brother, PM Chuck Roach presiding. Welcome aboard, brother, looking forward to your proficiency exam and passing.

Installation of 2018-2019 Lodge Officers is scheduled for 2:00PM, Saturday, June 30, 2018. A joint installation is planned, with Hobah and Lawn, in the Abilene 559 Lodge room. Other District 75 Lodges have been invited to participate. PGM Graham Childress is scheduled to preside. Please plan to be there.
Masters Degree Conferral
Please attend and assist in the conferral of an MM degree at 7:00PM, Thursday, May 10, 2018. Come and celebrate as a new Master Mason is raised. Light regreshments at 6:30 PM.

Geometry
“The fifth of these sciences, Geometry, is deemed principally essential in Masonry.”
By it the architect is enabled to construct his plans and execute his designs; the general, to arrange his soldiers; the engineer, to mark out grounds for encampments; the geographer, to give us the dimensions of the world and all things therein contained; to delineate the extent of seas and specify the divisions of empires. By it also the astronomer is able to make his observations, and to fix the duration of times and seasons, years and cycles. In fine, Geometry is the foundation of architecture and the root of mathematics.
