Come to Floor School Wednesday, August 1st for practice of the EA proficiency and conferral. There is plenty of ice cream and root beer for floats. Channel the Fonz and join your brothers for an evening of fellowship (and floats).
August floor schools, as usual, will practice EA Aug 1st, FC Aug 8th, MM August 15, Open and close the Lodge August 22 and anybody’s preference August 29th. Focus will be on proficiency exams and floor work. If anyone shows up who would like practice in a particular degree, we can break out an instructor for that purpose.
So, attend, participate and enjoy, regardless of your degree. All will be welcome.

Brothers, remember that the Worshipful Master has called a meeting for 7:00pm this evening to conduct the installation of our Junior Steward. Please attend to show your support for our new Master Mason and for your lodge. Light refreshments will be provided at 6:30pm.
Also, two building issues to be aware of:
The A/C should be fixed within a week.
The elevator is running, but with the usual caveats. We are awaiting the arrival of replacement parts that should make it more reliable in the future.
Thank you to our Building Committee for the time they have been putting into getting these issues worked out!

July 25th, at 7 PM Called meeting. Open on Master’s degree to install Brother Ron Poston as Junior Steward.
August 2nd at 6:30 PM Dinner recognizing the Past Masters of Abilene Lodge No. 559,before the stated meeting. A collection will be taken for the purpose of supporting the Lamar medal and scholarship program this Masonic Year.
August 2nd at 7:30 PM Stated Meeting. Open on Master’s degree for official visit of RW Rodney Price DDGM.

Brethren, just a reminder that Floor School will be 7:30pm this evening. We will be focusing on the Fellowcraft Degree. Any who can attend are encouraged to do so – it is a beautiful degree and we all need a refresher!
